“I’m beginning to regret why I voted for Duterte”

I must confess that I voted for Duterte, kasi nga I was fed up with what was, or was not happening on the government and our country. But I think nagkamali yata ako.

I voted Duterte for I see in him the vision and realism that he imparted on his campaign sorties. The promises he would always proudly spoke of and how he would fondly bet his honor, integrity and the 3-6 months.

After the elections I was really hoping that he would change for the best. Those dirty jokes and curses he would make on national tv which would often lead to offend someone or some countries which has nothing to do with our affairs which would eventually end up making the Philippines a headline on some foreign media.

But with the recent events concerning Mariz Umali and the U.N officials likewise with his appointments of his buddies, fratmates, and campaign donors.

I must say it’s not the best of the brightest that he once bragged on his speeches. That no self-vested interest appointee will hold a cabinet post. What’s with Mark Villar on the DPWH then?

Yes, he hasn’t started his term yet and that makes me even more remorseful. His term starts on July 1 and certainly the best brouhaha is yet to come.
